Mabel is a 20+ years old Belgian Draft Horse. She was a part of an old Amish team with Jake, that were beaten and overused for many years, before another family tried to take them in to help them but the horses were in to bad of condition and they didn't know what to do. Jake and Mabel came to the rescue for help. Unfortunately their depleted condition was just too much for their large bodies to handle. Mabel was laid to rest along side Jake on 8/29/07. She will forever be missed! Rest in Peace, no longer in pain, no longer suffering, run free! |
